조엘 에스컬로나, BREUER를 위한 운동의 법칙을 탐구하다

Joel Escalona Explores Laws of Motion for BREUER

멕시코에 본사를 둔 디자이너 조엘 에스컬로나는 BREUER를 위해 처음으로 수집 가능한 9피스 한정판 시리즈 디자이너 거울, 테이블, 좌석을 만들었다. 운동의 법칙 컬렉션은 참나무, 대리석, 금속을 디자인 조각으로 조각하기 위해 중력, 힘, 움직임의 물리적 개념을 사용한다.

Mexico-based designer Joel Escalona has created his first collectible, limited-edition, 9-iece series of designer mirrors, tables, and seats for BREUER. The Laws of Motion collection employs the physical concepts of gravity, force, and movement to sculpt oak, marble, and metal into design pieces.

 

이번 컬렉션은 중남미 현대 미술·디자인 박람회인 ZONAMACO 2019에서 처음 선보였다.

The collection was showcased for the first time at ZONAMACO 2019, a contemporary art and design fair in Latin America.

 

 

'포스'는 대리석 디테일이 세팅된 테이블과 걸상이다.

'Velocity' 아래에는 참나무와 금속으로 주조된 세 개의 기하학적 조각상이 있다.

Under ‘Velocity’ are three geometric sculptures cast in oak and metal.

'움직임'은 벤치, 거울, 원형 커피 테이블, 직사각형 커피 테이블, 사이드 테이블 등 예정된 가구 물건들의 시리즈다.

‘Movement’ is a series of slated furniture objects including a bench, a mirror, a circular coffee table, a rectangular coffee table, and side tables.

'가속'은 둥근 둥근 오크 의자와 오크룸 칸막이로 구성되어 있다.

‘Acceleration’ consists of a circular, wrap-around oak chair and an oak room divider.
